Overview Ultrasound Technologist – Ultrasound Imaging travel assignment in Helena, MT. Responsibilities - Perform ultrasound examinations across modalities including vascular and abdomen studies, abdominal aorta (AAA), OB-related imaging, and biophysical profiles; some pediatrics may be encountered. - Ensure patient safety and comfort, obtain quality diagnostic images, and document findings in the Epic EMR for radiologist interpretation. - Operate GE ultrasound equipment, adhere to department protocols, and participate in routine quality control and preventative maintenance. - Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate imaging services and communicate results promptly to ordering clinicians. - Follow professional dress code (scrubs) and maintain patient confidentiality and infection control standards. - No on-call duties are required for this assignment. Requirements - Experience: 2 years of ultrasound experience; prior travel experience preferred; OB experience is important. - Certifications: ARDMS required and must be on the candidate’s profile at time of submittal; BLS required. - Setting: Experience in inpatient and outpatient imaging environments; some pediatrics experience is required. - Equipment/Systems: Familiarity with GE ultrasound systems; Epic EMR experience. - Additional: Ability to work in Helena, MT; first-time travelers will be considered; OB experience strongly preferred. - Submittal notes: Load all demographic information at submission (address, email, full DOB, SSN, full name) as part of the profile.
