divh2Credit Manager/h2pLocation: 4599 Cemetery Road, Hilliard, OH 43026/ppAdditional Locations Include:/pulli491 North Cleveland-Massillon Road, Akron, OH 44333/lili100 Corporate Center Drive Suite 200, Camp Hill, PA 17011/lili358 N Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212/lili800 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701/lili205 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601/li/ulpHours: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)/ppFunction: Manages the credit process consistent with Corporate and Credit Policy and serves as a central point in deciding credit exposure for new and existing relationships within an assigned credit profile and vertical (CRE or CI)./ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliReviews, underwrites and makes decisions on loan requests within stated lending authority; involve next higher level authority level when deal size or complexity warrants./liliMaintains credit quality standards for the assigned adhering to Corporate Policies and the banks credit culture./liliResponds promptly to credit requests to determine feasibility and nature of analysis to be conducted./liliAssumes responsibility for coaching, mentoring, training and guidelines to underwriters and assigned deal teams./liliSupports assigned deal teams in the structuring and delivering of credit products to meet client needs./liliWorks with commercial bankers and underwriters to manage the analysis and documentation to produce a focused, concise underwriting package. Follow deal from initial request through final documentation./liliEnsures compliance with credit policy and appropriate reporting./liliEnsures strong credit culture as well as an effective and efficient approval process./liliBalances a strong asset quality focus while supporting a strong business development plan./liliActs as a highly visible customer contact working as a member of the vertical management team in relationship banking model./liliUnderstands, underwrites and manages the portfolio in accordance with the regional and corporate risk profile./liliIdentifies critical issues and proposes alternative structures and financing solutions./liliMeets with client or prospect to clear any conditions of approval or unresolved issues. Call activity would promote new business due diligence, selling the client and addressing deteriorating situations./liliDemonstrates credit judgment, size and scope of assigned credit portfolio to determine level of credit risk exposure that will be assigned on any given relationship./liliDiscusses changes with the commercial banker to resolve any conflicts between the clients needs and the banks structure as needed./liliIn collaboration with the Senior Credit Officer, establishes and executes monthly and quarterly reporting of vertical portfolio metrics concentrating on credit risk management./liliIn collaboration with the Senior Credit Officer, helps model, project and track actual versus potential charge-offs, NPLs, criticized and classified assets and overall credit quality of the assigned vertical for performance measurement./liliProvides technical advice and assistance to relationship managers in the evaluations and structuring or restructuring of commercial credits within the portfolio./liliEnsures satisfaction of compliance and regulatory related issues./liliParticipates and reviews all criticized and classified assets as assigned and participates in the quarterly Criticized Asset meeting./liliParticipates in Senior Loan Committee./liliPrepares presentations and participates in management or committee meetings as needed./liliSolicits, with vertical management, new business opportunities and participates in community or other services/activities./liliMaintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization./liliAssumes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned./li/ulpEducation: Requires a four-year degree or equivalent./ppExperience: More than ten years general experience, five to ten years of specialized experience preferred in Commercial Banking, Credit Underwriting. Has a working knowledge of loan documentation, various collateral perfection requirements, including security agreements, UCC, Mortgages./ppPhysical Demands: This work can be performed at multiple locations. Operates a keypad device 80-90% and electronic equipment 10-20% of the day. Traveling 20-30%, overnight stays 0-10%. Reaching above the shoulders bending and twisting 0-10%, standing 0-10%, sitting 80-90%, walking 0-10% of the day. Primary parts of the body involved include fingers, thumb, hand, wrist(s), elbows, legs/feet.
