This full-time, contract-based role is focused on delivering resource services to students who benefit from specialized instruction. Desired Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or eligibility for certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• Experience working with middle school students in a resource setting is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students within the resource classroom, focusing on individual and small group needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to promote skill development, independence, and confidence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered culture.
• Communicate regularly with families, ensuring open and supportive partnerships.
