Delmar Middle & Senior High School 200 N. Eighth Street Delmar, DE 19940

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum GED/High School Diploma Must be 21 years of age. Satisfactory Child Protection Registry. Good oral and written communication and the ability to present information effectively The State of Delaware requires all public school employees to undergo a criminal background check (state and federal) to determine suitability for employment. Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check, which is the responsibility of the employee. The State of Delaware requires new employees to be paid by direct deposit and to be part of a lag payroll system as conditions of employment.

SALARY:

As per State guidelines: Class A-Licensed/Certified Teacher $179 per day; Class B -Bachelor's/Associate's degree $143 per day; Class C-GED or High School Diploma $113 per day. Long Term Substitute additional pay of $25/day beginning on the 11th consecutive day. (After 3 consecutive days unassigned, long-term day count will start over)
