AR/GLSL shaders 3D Technical Artist

As part of its charter, ACE delivers camera effects that give people the inspiration, confidence, and entertainment they need to feel comfortable creating.Responsibilities:Client’s team is seeking a AR/GLSL shaders 3D Technical Artist or creative technologist who can drive the ideation, creative direction, and implementation of compelling camera effects in our proprietary platform software.This requires a unique skill set combining both technical acumen and creative sensibility.Top Daily Responsibilities:Creative Development: Ideate, design, and develop AR/GLSL shaders/effects and 3D assets from start to finish with guidance from Art Directors.Collaboration: Work with UX to refine with a goal towards shipping and collaborate with engineering for technical requirements and porting.Tool Feedback: Utilize our creative effect authoring tool to provide feedback on functionality and areas for improvement.Mandatory:4+ years of relevant work experience as a technical artist.3+ years of experience authoring GLSL shaders.3+ years of experience with 3D modelling (gltf pipelines / generating technical assets).3+ years of experience in one or more of the following software programs: Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya.2+ years of experience with JavaScript.2+ years of experience with WebGL.Experience with TypeScript.Experience with three.js or other web-based 3D frameworks.2+ years of experience in basic modeling, rigging, animation, and texture and lighting skills (with strong expertise in at least one area).Strong attention to detail and excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.Portfolio with relevant examples of technical and artistic skills.Desired:Published AR/camera effects or filters on a public platform.Up-to-date with contemporary social media trends/culture.Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.A degree in a relevant field: animation, video games, computer science.About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
