Role Description The Certified Athletic Trainer is a full‑time hybrid role based in Granite Falls, WA, with some flexibility for work‑from‑home tasks such as documentation and communication. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include evaluating injuries, developing and implementing prevention and rehabilitation programs, and providing on‑site coverage for practices, games, and community events. The role involves collaborating with physical therapists, physicians, coaches, and families to design individualized care plans that promote safe return to activity and long‑term wellness. The Certified Athletic Trainer will also educate patients, athletes, and stakeholders on injury prevention, conditioning, and proper exercise techniques, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional and regulatory standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation to assess, treat, and manage musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Candidates should possess skills in Injury Prevention and Prevention strategies to reduce risk and support safe participation in physical activity and sport. Candidates should possess skills in Strength & Conditioning to design and guide performance, conditioning, and return‑to‑play programs. Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (BOC) and eligibility for or possession of Washington State licensure. Experience working with diverse athlete populations in clinical, school, or community settings is preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and care teams. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
