Student Nurse Tech

Additional Information About the Role Are you enrolled in Nursing School and interested in becoming a Student Nurse Tech? If so, this is the job opening for YOU! Interested candidates who have completed their Fundamentals (or equivalent course) and have least 6 months of Nursing School remaining should apply. Role Purpose Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. Responsibilities Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities provided. Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs. Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team. Collects clinical data and information on patients, and documents appropriately. Instructs patients in preparations for tests and procedures. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job. Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
