Central Receiving Specialist I

Warehouse SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, return orders, and service orders within the ERP system, receiving and distributing materials, transferring inventory between locations, and ensuring accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and experienced in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials.Receive incoming shipments by inspecting for damage, verifying quantities, and processing delivery documentation.Receive products against purchase orders and update inventory records in the ERP system.Process replenishment, return, and service orders accurately and efficiently.Pick, pack, and stage materials for internal departments and field service teams.Transfer inventory between warehouse locations and production facilities while maintaining accurate system transactions.Sort, distribute, and track incoming deliveries throughout the facility.Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Report equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to management.Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.QualificationsPrevious warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.Forklift experience required; certification preferred.Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.Equipment UsedForklifts (electric and propane)Pallet jacksDolliesFreight elevatorsDock levelersStandard office equipmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Ability to climb stairs as needed.Extended periods of forklift operation.Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.Keywords for Indeed: Warehouse Specialist, Material Handler, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, ERP, Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Inventory Management.
