Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with over 160 locations worldwide, our team of over 3,500 employees excels in offering a multitude of mission-critical services.We are currently searching for DOT certified Trailer Mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience at our La Porte, TX location.Address: 11110 Hwy 225, La Porte, TX. 77571Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 1st shiftPay Range: $20.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience.Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.Tank service and repairTrailer suspension installation and repairExperience with air brake systems and repairsTIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)Physical Demands:The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsWith assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 poundsMust be able to fit through a tank trailer manholeMust be able to work in confined spacesDCI Benefits:Medical, dental and vision insurance401(k) with generous employer matchPaid time off, including 10 paid holidaysOptional health savings account & flexible spending accountLife insuranceEmployee assistance programParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursementTool purchase programEffective and proven safety programResources to become a national board ASME certified welder
