Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring Level 1 trauma experience, a minimum of 3 years in the OR, and proficiency in Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS specialties.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting,
• Staff are expected to work across a variety of surgical specialty areas including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS,
• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM,
• On-call required: weekday call runs 6:30 PM-7:00 AM; weekend call runs Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM,
• 40-minute response time required for on-call,
• On-call is assigned on a rotating basis; the first 6-week schedule includes 2-3 weekday call shifts, and the following 6-week period includes a weekend call,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing, with no licensure hits,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required,
• Level 1 trauma OR experience desired,
• Experience in Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS required,
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
