First Assistant Golf Professional

Overview Vineyards Country Club is searching for our next First Assistant Golf Professional who will support the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in the management of daily golf operations while upholding the Vineyards SHINE Service Standards. This position is responsible for delivering a consistently high level of service through professional, courteous, and responsive interactions with members and guests, while ensuring efficient and effective golf shop and course operations. Experience Required PGA/LPGA Member preferred, but PGA Associates will be considered 3+ years of high-end, private country club experience is preferred 36-hole or more facility experience preferred, but not required High proficiency in Golf Genius is a must Experience in ClubEssential Point of Sale and ForeTees is preferred, but can be taught Essential Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing warm, professional, and acknowledging interactions with all members and guests Ensure adherence to Vineyards SHINE Standards, including Service, Helpful, Integrity, Notice and Exceed Assist in the daily operation of the Golf Shop, including working the counter, processing transactions, and managing tee time requests and reservations Maintain proper phone etiquette and ensure all communications are handled in a professional and timely manner Coordinate, assist, and execute, using Golf Genius, with tournaments, outings, and club events, ensuring seamless execution and member satisfaction Monitor pace of play using PACE Technology GPS and maintain a visible presence on the golf course to support members and enhance their experience Maintain organization, cleanliness, and appropriate presentation standards within the golf shop and surrounding areas Support and guide outside services staff to ensure consistent service delivery and station coverage Proactively address member and guest needs, concerns, or service opportunities and elevate appropriately when necessary Support instructional programs, clinics, and player development initiatives as assigned Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with Club standards Commitment to a member-first service culture Professionalism, respect, and courtesy in all interactions Strong communication and active listening skills Responsiveness and sense of urgency Team collaboration, accountability and reliability Ability to anticipate member needs and exceed expectations Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Complimentary meals, while on duty Annual PTO allotment PGA Dues and Approved Continuing Education costs Clothing Allowance #J-18808-Ljbffr
