Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2240 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:- Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:- Telemetry experience preferred.

Unit Details:- Lower-acuity patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, including some awaiting placement to a long-term care facility.- Patient populations include geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, telemetry, and patients with psychiatric issues.

Shift&Scheduling:- Weekend rotation required.- No regular call rotation; may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour.

Floating Requirements:- The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab, and the nurse may have to float between the two units. Inpatient Rehab is a designated unit for intense rehab services.

14 days maximum time off
