Join us.Job DescriptionAECOMis seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Seattle, Washington.Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal DOD facilities, coastal defense, and development schemesCivil design for terminals across the United StatesCreates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawingsIndependently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications, plans, and detailsUses computer software as a tool for solving engineering problemsPerforms work in accordance with agreed upon budget and scheduleProvides guidance to entry level engineersIndependently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering worksQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationProfessional Engineer Registration with the ability to attain a Washington State Professional Engineer Registration within 6 monthsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree plus 5years of related experienceExperience with computer aided design (AutoCAD)Experience with ArcGISPreferred experience with Ports and MarineExperience in the design of marine terminals, naval facilities, and port facilitiesEnthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and driveAdditional InformationU.S. Citizenship is required for this positionRelocation is available for this positionAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
