Sr. DevOps Engineer - Job Description/ Responsibilities

We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to support critical infrastructure for a financial crimes technology platform. This role emphasizes traditional DevOps practices - CI/CD pipeline engineering, on-prem/hybrid infrastructure automation, and release management - rather than cloud-native or cloud-heavy environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Orchestrators and model skills libraries

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting mission-critical financial crimes applications

Manage build, release, and deployment processes across on-prem and hybrid environments

Administer and troubleshoot infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Artifactory/Nexus, and configuration management platforms (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)

Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release cycles

Support automation of build, test, and deployment workflows to improve reliability and reduce manual effort

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues in coordination with infrastructure and application support teams

Maintain documentation for deployment processes, environment configurations, and standard operating procedures

Participate in change management and release governance processes typical of a regulated financial environment
