Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Apply crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques in accordance with facility protocols, including CPI Blue Card certification requirements
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain compliance with facility learning requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid California State RN License required and must be in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required and must be in-hand at time of application (MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted)
• All additional required certifications must be in-hand at time of application
• EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history
• Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
• No requested time off (RTO) within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred; all RTO must be declared on the submittal and cannot be modified once the profile has been submitted to the manager
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Familiarity with high-volume, high-acuity emergency department environments
• Strong proficiency navigating EPIC in an ED workflow context
