6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, On call - One weekend a month and one day a week.

Job Description

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in the endoscopy unit. The nurse will work with a team to perform various procedures while ensuring safety and comfort for patients, both adults and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during and after procedures.
• Provide comprehensive care while collaborating with the medical team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in the state of Texas.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience in endoscopy preferred.
• BLS certification required.
