Responsibilities

The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) is a 395-bed tertiary care, academic medical center located in downtown Washington, DC, next to the Foggy Bottom metro. GW Hospital serves a diverse group of patients - from local residents to our nation's leaders. POSITION SUMMARY

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient r ooms, hallways, offices, and public areas of the hospital by cleaning, disinfecting and replenishing supplies in assigned areas of the hospital.
  Maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of the hospital and comply with regulatory requirements.
  Account for cleaning inventory and equipment ensuring that the necessary tools are available to perform the job.
