Behavior Analyst in Training South Tempe Soar Autism Center Location: 1711 West Greentree Drive, Tempe, AZ 85284 Compensation: $25.50 - $32.50/hour (signing bonus available) Schedule: Full time Job Type: Permanent Industry: Health medical and related Overview At Soar Autism Center, you’ll join a team deeply committed to delivering exceptional, ethical care for young children. We practice play‑based, trauma‑informed ABA aligned with the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), inside an integrated care center where collaboration with SLPs, OTs, psychologists, and medical providers is part of daily practice. Responsibilities Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10‑20 paid unrestricted hours per week) to learn and practice key skills to become a high‑quality BCBA. Update client goals and programming utilizing our electronic data collection platform. Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs. Participate in ESDM specific trainings and grow your clinical skillset. Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT). Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support. Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re‑assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist. Be part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings with Speech‑Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists. Conduct direct client therapy (15‑25 hours per week) based on center needs and program progress. Qualifications Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA. Be within ~400‑600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam. Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist. Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and planning. Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy. Desire to learn, grow, and accept feedback.
