Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Desktop Support Technician with our client in Santa Fe, New Mexico . This is a full-time onsite contract position with no remote work option.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop support for end users in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related hardware/software.
- Respond to help desk requests through phone, email, remote tools, and in-person support.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of support tickets, including logging, tracking, updating, resolving, and escalating issues while meeting SLA requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Support Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Active Directory .
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
- Prioritize multiple support requests while delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure desktop systems remain secure, reliable, and fully operational.
Required Skills
- Experience providing desktop/laptop hardware and software support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows operating systems, hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory .
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, PERL, or Shell) is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
