Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; first-timers are accepted. License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in general and laparoscopic procedures, orthopedic and spine surgeries, robotics, and minimally invasive surgeries. Description: Schedule: Blocked Friday-Sunday (weekends). Patient population primarily consists of adults to geriatrics. In the main OR, complex surgeries such as neurosurgery, labor and delivery, and cardiothoracic procedures are not performed. 95% of procedures are outpatient, allowing patients to go home the same day. Common procedures include total joints (knees, shoulders, hips), spinal fusions, sports medicine, podiatry, general/laparoscopic surgeries, colorectal surgeries, and robotic surgeries. Specialty equipment includes various surgical tables, laparoscopic video equipment, a surgical robot system, and various monitoring and surgical tools. Scrub color is provided by the facility. Call requirements are minimal due to in-house teams. Holiday coverage typically includes working one or two major holidays depending on the assignment period. Complete compliance required to start on time. Clinical fit will be evaluated through a screening process. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
