The Division of General Internal Medicine at our organization is in search of a committed Outpatient Primary Care Physician to become part of our faculty team, dedicated to providing outstanding patient care, education, and research.

Overview:

This role involves serving as a Primary Care Outpatient faculty physician, encompassing responsibilities such as conducting office visits and consultations, supervising and teaching medical students and residents, and participating in relevant medical school and departmental committees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care within the General Internal Medicine practice, which includes seeing patients at the Clinical Academic Building (CAB) and potentially at various outpatient satellite locations, including the Executive Health Program.

• Ensure timely completion of all charting and billing tasks.

• Engage in the education and training of medical students and residents, as well as participate in all academic and clinical activities assigned by the Division Chief.

• Contribute to clinical research initiatives as opportunities arise.

• Take part in relevant committees within the Department of Medicine and Medical School.

• Attend Division and Department meetings, including faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, and resident recruitment sessions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Chief or Department Chair.

• Must hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine or be Board eligible.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected salary range for this position is between $247,027 and $268,473 annually.

The final salary will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, as well as the availability of departmental or grant funds. Market benchmarks and internal equity will also be considered to ensure fair compensation within the broader compensation framework of the organization.
