Overview
A warm and flexible family in Amagansett is seeking an experienced, nurturing Live-In Nanny to care for their two young children, ages 22 months and 4 months. The family is looking for a calm, communicative, and professional caregiver who can provide loving, developmentally focused care while becoming a trusted part of their household.The family currently resides in the Hamptons but may relocate back to New York City in the future. Should that occur, the position would transition to a live-out role in UES. They are seeking someone who is adaptable, enjoys working collaboratively with parents, and is interested in growing with the family long-term.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00am–6:00pm
Flexibility for occasional Saturday hours when needed
**Live-in accommodations available seven days per week, even though the primary work schedule is Monday–Friday**
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive care for a toddler and infant
- Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and play
- Managing children's daily routines, including meals, naps, and outings
- Preparing children's meals and maintaining child-related organization
- Children's laundry and nursery upkeep
- Creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
- Traveling with the family as needed
- Maintaining open and consistent communication with parents regarding schedules, routines, and developmental progress

- Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
- Strong communication skills with both parents and children
- Professional, flexible, and dependable
- Someone who values creating a peaceful and positive home environment
- Long-term mindset and desire to grow with a family
Requirements
- Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously
- Background in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license is a plus
- Flexibility to travel with the family as needed
Salary and Benefits
- $35–$40/hour DOE, on the books
- Live-in accommodations are provided while in the Hamptons
- PTO, sick days, more to be discussed
