They are responsible for protection of all hotel assets, ensuring that hotel security policies and procedures are enforced and that the hotel is in full compliance to all local, state and federal regulations. The Security officer also performs hotel security functions, including fire prevention, safety, investigation, and resolution of guest and employee complaints regarding safety and security matters.Job Requirements:Patrols property, inside and out during overnight shiftsCheck doors and stairways to make sure they are secureRespond to complaints and calls for helpPurchase, maintain and monitor security cameras and alarm systemsEscorts unruly patrons and loiters from the propertyAssists with securing taxi for inebriated guestsFills out report at end of shiftOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years in Security roleApplicable state certification as requiredMinimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred, Peace Officer training preferredAbility to multi-taskAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingKnowledge of security/surveillance proceduresLocation: Hotel Indigo New OrleansReq Number: SEC-26-00008
