Join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence. Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our diverse and motivated Management Services team. This role involves reviewing insurance company financial statements and tax returns, handling special projects, and collaborating with a talented team of problem solvers. Responsibilities: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and federal and state income tax returns. Lead and foster a culture of open and dynamic communication, promoting teamwork to achieve goals. Assist in resolving complex accounting issues and provide guidance to team members. Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures. Perform tasks of Accounting Analysts and assist with accounting and tax work. Handle confidential client matters with discretion. Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours). Maintain familiarity with IRS Circular 230, AICPA Professional Code of Conduct, and relevant regulations. Complete special projects within defined timeframes and minimal review notes. Communicate directly with external clients on various topics. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education/experience. Five or more years of insurance company accounting and/or tax experience. At least one year of experience in a senior accounting or manager role. High initiative, positivity, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, adaptable, solution-oriented, and resourceful. Effective communication skills, strong work ethic, and high personal integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
