Registered Nurse - Psych/Rehab Float Unit
Location: Largo, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 05:30 - 19:00. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description: The Registered Nurse will be part of the psych/rehab department, working as a float nurse. You will provide high-quality patient care, support, and assessment in a dynamic and specialized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering patient-centered nursing care in the psych/rehab unit.
- Conducting assessments, administering medications, and developing care plans.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care strategies as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- Experience in psych/rehab nursing preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification is a plus.
