Counsel Full Time Any U.S. Location, CHANTILLY, VA, US Salary Range: $180,000.00 To 250,000.00 Annually Our Client is one of the largest legal practices focused exclusively on addressing the legal challenges that arise at the intersection of the law and technology, including eDiscovery, information governance, data privacy, and data security. We provide clients with practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions and serve Global and Fortune 500 companies across a diverse array of industries. We also work collaboratively with Am Law 100 law firms in roles ranging from co-counsel to consulting and testifying expert witnesses and have appeared in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Our Client is seeking talented Counsel in all our offices and/or to work remotely. We are adding qualified and talented Counsel to meet the increasing demands of our clients. The work will be for regional, national, and global clients providing practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions in the eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy service markets. Candidates should have at least ten (10) years of experience in Litigation, eDiscovery and information governance within a law firm, consulting advisory firm, or corporate management function. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience advising clients on a range of Litigation and eDiscovery issues, developing discovery plans, complying with best practices, implementing and leveraging discovery analytics and technology, managing the discovery process, and defending and resolving issues that arise during the course of discovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least ten (10) years of experience with drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, witness interviews, drafting discovery requests, and related litigation experience. Knowledge of legal principles specifically on eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy and be up to date with the existing and emerging law, legislation, and practice Admission to the bar in a least one of the following jurisdictions: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, DC
