Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with CVOR and Open Heart surgery experience to provide specialized perioperative nursing care. This on-call position requires dedication and clinical expertise to support cardiovascular surgical cases as needed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive preoperative assessments and preparation for cardiovascular surgery patients.
  
  
• 
  Administer intraoperative nursing care during CVOR and open heart procedures, ensuring patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and surgical team needs throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist in sterile techniques and equipment management in the operating room.
  
  
• 
  Provide post-operative care instructions and support patient recovery processes.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient histories.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess valid Registered Nurse licensure in the applicable state.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of CVOR experience, with open heart surgery background preferred.
  
  
• 
  Hold relevant certifications, such as ACLS and BLS.
  
  
• 
  Display strong clinical skills in cardiovascular perioperative care.
  
  
• 
  Be available for on-call shifts approximately 10-15 days per month.
