Fun, friendly work environment Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work - since 2012 Details: As needed position We typically have clients looking for trainers JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and implementing a specialized exercise regimen for a client. Ensures the fitness program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as physical fitness, nutrition, cardiovascular training, and weight training. Offers guidance and support to clients in order to achieve their goals. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fitness field. Relies on experience, judgment, and creativity to plan and accomplish goals. QUALIFICATIONS: ACSM, ACE, NETA, NSCA, or approved National Certification or Bachelor of Science in Health Promotions, Exercise Physiology or related field required. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work with fitness impaired members. Recommended CPR certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
