US - IT Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain distributed analysis capabilities for large datasets.
• Apply advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures to improve software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges in agricultural data management.
• Evaluate and implement relevant technology stacks tailored to specific datasets.
• Present findings and innovations at industry conferences and events.
• Contribute ideas and insights to various projects, emphasizing the strength of concepts over organizational hierarchy.

Skills:

• Proficient in software engineering principles with at least 7 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Go programming language (minimum 2 years).
• Experience building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using RESTful architecture (minimum 2 years).
• Familiarity with stream processing technologies, particularly Apache Kafka.
• Comfortable with Unit Testing and Test Driven Development methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Proven ability to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in data modeling for large-scale databases, both relational and NoSQL.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing or software development are a plus.
