Join Cherry Bekaert’s Valuation Services practice as a Senior Manager where you will expand beyond traditional deliverables to guide clients through complex business decisions, providing pre‑deal analysis, value opinions, calculations of value, and ad‑hoc modeling and analysis. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading sophisticated engagements requiring competencies in strategic advisory, technical valuation leadership, client relationship development, business development and team mentorship. As a Senior Manager, Valuation, You Will Lead strategic and traditional valuation engagements, including pre‑deal analyses, value opinions, calculations of value, business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, impairment analyses, tax valuations, complex financial instruments, and litigation matters Manage the full engagement lifecycle, including client communication, relationship building, technical direction, deliverable review, and timely feedback to team members Serve as a trusted advisor to a broad range of clients, translating complex valuation and corporate finance analyses into clear, actionable insights Direct complex financial analyses, valuation models, research, and ad‑hoc modeling that support informed client decisions Manage engagement and proposal risk in alignment with Firm expectations Contribute to business development through client presentations, industry and technical conferences, and collaboration with practice leadership on new client strategies Recruit, train, mentor, and provide meaningful feedback to junior professionals while supporting their continued development What You Bring To The Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex financial & valuation analyses and building financial models in a public accounting or consulting environment Strong research and analytical capabilities, including the ability to address complex valuation issues Exceptional client relationship, communication, technical writing, and presentation skills Ability to manage relationships across multiple levels while delivering responsive client service Demonstrated leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring capabilities Ability to travel as needed to support client/firm needs, expected What You Can Expect From Us Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respect The opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you A collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development Competitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing Flexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work Opportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures Benefits Information Cherry Bekaert cares about our people. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
