Continuing Education - Certified Medical Administrative Assistant

POSITION DESCRIPTIONInstruct continuing education courses in certified medical administrative assistant curriculum. Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.Working Conditions:Restricted-sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal hazard/exposure - standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.Benefits:Part-time retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).QualificationsMinimum Qualification Requirements:Education: High School diploma or GEDExperience: Three (3) years of current full-time experience as a medical administrative assistant and/or medical office management experience or a minimum of one (1) year of current full-time work experience in medical office administration and certified in medical office management procedures (CMAA, RMA, AAMA) or have an Associate's Degree relevant to medical office managementPreferred Qualifications:Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityExperience: Teaching or training experienceApplication InformationPlease feel free to contact this office regarding the status of your application.
