We are looking for a Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations by serving as a central point of communication for drivers. This contract to hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple conversations at once, and brings strong customer service and coordination skills. In this role, you will help drivers navigate route, payroll, and safety-related questions while keeping information organized and responses timely. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and comfort with message-based communication are important for success.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary communication link for a group of approximately 35 to 50 drivers, providing timely support throughout the workday.

• Respond to driver questions related to pay, route challenges, and safety matters, ensuring concerns are addressed accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor and manage a high volume of written communications, using messaging platforms as the main method of interaction with drivers.

• Handle occasional phone conversations when issues require direct discussion or immediate clarification.

• Coordinate with operations and other internal teams to resolve driver concerns and keep daily activities moving smoothly.

• Maintain clear and organized records of communications, updates, and issue resolution using Microsoft Office tools and internal systems.

• Assist in addressing logistics-related disruptions by gathering details, sharing updates, and helping drivers stay informed.

• Support a service-focused environment by communicating professionally, calmly, and effectively in time-sensitive situations

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a transportation support role.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal formats.

• Strong skillset with numbers, math, formulas.

• Comfortable managing a large volume of driver interactions, especially through messaging-based communication tools.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including the ability to track information and maintain organized documentation.

• Ability to prioritize multiple issues at once and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operations setting.

• Experience handling payroll-related questions, route support, or safety concerns is preferred.

• Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch systems or similar logistics support platforms is a plus.
