Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to a diverse patient population in the ICU/CCU unit. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services for surgical patients or those with serious respiratory and cardiac conditions.
Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress continuously.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER units to support staffing needs based on competency levels.
Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed, adhering to clinical protocols.
Follow hospital orientation, complete competency requirements, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Active RN license with ICU/CCU experience, including emergency room or PACU preferred.
Ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends, with flexibility and reliability.
Proven competency in critical care procedures and patient monitoring.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in surgical, respiratory, or cardiac care settings is a plus.
Must complete hospital and unit-specific orientation and competency assessments.
