We are looking for a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our team at our fast-paced, upscale Italian Osteria.
You will make great drinks, talk about amazing Italian wines, and give our guests an unforgettable dining experience.
Job Overview
As our bartender, you will work in a high-energy environment. You must know how to balance the speed of a busy bar with the high standards of an upscale restaurant. You will be the face of our bar, sharing your passion for Italian food, wine, and culture with everyone who sits down.
What You Will Do
- Craft amazing drinks: Mix classic Italian cocktails like Negronis and Spritzes with speed and precision.
- Share wine knowledge: Guide guests through our extensive Italian wine list and suggest the best pairings for their meals.
- Provide great service: Welcome guests warmly, take accurate food and drink orders, and check in on them often.
- Keep things moving: Make drinks quickly for both bar guests and the dining room servers.
- Stay organized: Clean and restock the bar area, track inventory, and wash glassware throughout your shift.
- Handle money safely: Take payments accurately using our POS system and follow all local alcohol laws.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 2 years of bartending experience in a busy, high-end restaurant or upscale environment.
- Italian Food & Wine Knowledge: A good understanding of Italian wine regions, spirits, and dishes is highly preferred.
- Speed and Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and move quickly while staying calm under pressure.
- Great Attitude: A friendly team player who loves talking to people and making them feel at home.
- Legal Requirements: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and hold any required local alcohol safety certifications.
