IT Operations Consultant

Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking an IT Operations Consultant. The IT Operations Consultant is responsible for the direction, analysis and continuous improvement of the following disciplines:
- Timely and effective PC hardware and software asset management processes and delivery.
- On-time and successful completion of IT Operations' audit deliverables
- Coordination of Performance & Capacity Planning Health Check reviews and action item completion with Business Unit points of contact
- Workstation patching, compliance and vulnerability reduction
- System and Configuration Item (CI) transition to operations (TTO)
- Incident Management/Major Incident Management
- Problem Management - root cause analyses and continuous improvement in system reliability
- Works with monitoring engineers to continuously improve issue prediction and detection, as well as incident avoidance and automated response
- Driving effective utilization of IT Operations' Jira Issue and Risk repositories to prioritize work and achieve positive outcomes
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
