Ultrasound Technologist *Per Diem* - Providence Valdez

Description Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Located onsite at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska! Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation Preferred Qualifications: 9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
