Compensation: $21 - $33 hourly Responsibilities: Perform Pedo Prophies Chairside assist doctors Float assisting Assemble instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for the dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments Educate patients by giving oral hygiene instructions Contribute to the team effort by helping where needed Welcome the patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment Ensure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow-up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patient's teeth and gums, after procedures Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records Qualifications: Must have a minimum of one year or more of dental assisting experience Concrete and measurable dental assisting skills Candidates with no dental experience need not apply Experience with children Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential About Company Philosophy We provide the highest standard of personalized patient care while having fun, creating an inviting atmosphere, and building a lifetime of confidence and healthy dental habits.
