Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens

Jackson and Coker is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a locums opportunity in Florida, covering specific dates in July. This role involves managing a moderate to high procedural volume, including emergent and scheduled IR cases, and requires proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and possess an active Florida license.

Moderate to high procedural volume (hospital-dependent)
Includes emergent and scheduled IR cases

Responsibilities

Perform Fluoroscopy-guided interventions
Perform CT-guided procedures
Perform Ultrasound-guided procedures
Perform Vascular/interventional angiography suite procedures
Perform Angiography
Perform vascular access
Perform drain placements
Perform biopsies (CT/US-guided)
Perform embolization procedures
Perform general hospital-based IR interventions

Shift & Schedule

Dates of Coverage: July 6-12 and July 20-26
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm plus night call from 5pm-8am
24 hour call coverage Saturday-Sunday 8am-8am

Requirements

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
Active Florida license
Must be comfortable working independently
Must be proficient in all the following procedures: Angiography, vascular access, drain placements, biopsies (CT/US-guided), embolization procedures, and general hospital-based IR interventions
