Java Backend Developer

Salary: $88,000 - 126,000 per year Requirements:

• 10 years of progressive industry experience as a Java/J2EE developer or lead
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in a Scaled Agile environment, including leading daily Agile routines and estimating stories with minimal direction
• Experience with enterprise application development, REST APIs, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, complex SQL and query plans, DevOps/CI/CD and monitoring tools, and GitHub or Bitbucket
• Core skills: Java, REST APIs, Docker, Java microservices, Spring Boot, and MySQL
• Additional skills: J2EE, application architecture, and application security
• Kubernetes and OpenShift experience are preferred

• Analyze, design, and develop enterprise applications using Agile methodologies
• Design, build, and maintain REST-based API platforms in high-volume environments
• Work with product partners to incorporate new functional requirements into the system
• Participate in code reviews and daily Scrum activities
