Prep Cook
Our Prep Cook works in a fast-paced casino/cardroom environment at Silicon Valley's premier 24/7 entertainment destination. Casino M8trix is looking for motivated professionals to join our Prep Cook team, helping us take our customer satisfaction to the next level of excellence.
We are currently hiring Prep Cooks interested in joining our talented Kitchen Team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for preparing menu items according to specifications and recipes. Applicants must have the ability to produce high quality, large volumes of food.
Requirements:
- At least one-year related experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Skilled in using kitchen equipment.
- Ability to prep large amounts of food under strict time constraints.
Work Hours and Availability:
Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Shifts are approximately:
- Day (6:00am - 2:00pm)
- Swing (1:00pm - 9:00pm)
- Grave (9:00pm - 5:00am)
Casino M8trix is hiring for Day Shift: (8:00AM - 4:00PM). Must be available to work full time.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting compensation is $18.45/hour. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees including: paid time off, medical, vision, dental insurance, and a 20% employee discount on food, non-alcoholic beverages, and Casino M8trix merchandise. Position available for a signing bonus of up to $1000. Bonuses only applicable to specific positions, and terms and conditions apply.
