Dishwasher / Prep Cook15 Walnut in South Hamilton is hiring a dependable Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. This role is perfect for someone who works hard, moves with purpose, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. Prep responsibilities may be included depending on experience and shift needs.Responsibilities:DishwasherWash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools quickly and properlyMaintain clean and organized dish stations and kitchen areasAssist with trash/recycling removal and end-of-shift cleanupKeep floors, mats, and BOH spaces clean and safeSupport the kitchen team during busy servicePrep Cook (as needed / based on experience)Basic food prep including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredientsLabeling, dating, and rotating products (FIFO)Set up prep items for service and assist cooks as directedHelp maintain cleanliness and food safety standardsWhat Will 15 Walnut Give To YouHourly pay of $17 - $19 an hour, depending on experienceSupportive team environmentConsistent hours and steady businessOpportunity to learn prep and grow in the kitchenEmployee meal/discount opportunitiesRequirementsReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environmentRestaurant experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right personMust be able to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
