Clinical Assistant (Medical Assistant) - Dermatology

Mount Sinai - 5 East 98th Street - Responsibilities: Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, families, healthcare providers, nursing homes, homecare providers and insurance companies to ensure quality patient care.; Coordinate daily activities of physician team staff to ensure efficient operations.; Assist with patient care tasks including preparing for exam, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and handling specimens and point-of-care testing.; Perform clerical duties such as managing medical records, obtaining reports, and processing forms in EMR or similar systems.; Provide training and mentoring to Level I Medical Assistants and help schedule workflow.
