Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Description The Staff Associate will be responsible for assisting the laboratory's postdoctoral fellows and graduate students with their experimental work. He/she will prepare reagents, perform molecular cloning methods such as plasmid construction, DNA transfections and DNA preparations, and carry out protein assays such as immunoprecipitation and Western blots. There will also be need for cell culture and flow cytometry.
