AI Engineer (EU)

Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer for a top data and analytics client. This individual will play a key role in designing and delivering agentic AI systems that leverage large language models to perform real, governed actions across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer with hands-on GenAI experience who understands both the power and limitations of AI, and can confidently take solutions from early proof-of-concept through production deployment. This role requires close collaboration with product, governance, and engineering teams to ensure AI solutions are reliable, secure, and ready for enterprise-scale impact.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with multi-agent systems
Prior work in enterprise environments with governance and approval workflows
Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise APIs and systems
Exposure to monitoring, observability, and tracing for AI services
Experience mentoring or setting engineering best practices
Background in regulated or high-stakes environments where AI accuracy is critical


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

2-3 years of hands-on experience working with AI / GenAI systems
Strong backend engineering background (Python)
Experience designing and implementing agentic AI systems
Tool-using agents
Multi-step workflows
Agent orchestration
Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (LangChain or similar)
Deep understanding of how GenAI systems work, including limitations and failure modes
Experience evaluating and validating GenAI responses to prevent stakeholder-facing errors
Experience taking solutions from PoC to production
Strong understanding of enterprise-grade requirements (security, scalability, reliability)
