Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills **Job Requirements** Education Work Experience 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience *required* Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly *preferred* Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredWork experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills Strong communication and customer service skills*Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives.
