As a Project Engineer , you will work in a project matrix organization to implement SCADA and PPC in renewable energy sites.What you will doAnalyzing photovoltaic and wind projects to monitor all the variables neededGenerating single line diagrams of the cabinets including the hardware for the SCADA solution to be deployed, given the project descriptions and Project Manager IndicationsCollaborating with colleagues to reach the schedules for deliveries, and providing assistance with general group activitiesSupporting the commissioning of SCADA systems, including travel for on-site plant visits. You can expect to spend up to 50% of your time at renewable energy sites.Configuration of the software to get the best value of the dataTechnical report writing, critical reviewing, and professional presentation to clientsYou will join our On-site Solutions team of Project Engineers and Project Managers. To achieve this, we actively create specific tools and automation processes, enabling us to deliver intelligently and uphold our position as industry leaders.What is required To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:Bachelors or Masters degree in EngineeringAt least 3 years of hands-on experience providing engineering and technical advice to renewable energy projects within solar PV, wind and/or BESSKnowledge about industrial communication protocols like MODBUS or other relevantAbility to create single line diagrams (AutoCAD)Excellent planning and organizational skills to navigate seamlessly through the demands of handling multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills with the ability to craft clear and accurate reports and share technical concepts in concise mannerFluency in written and spoken English and SpanishStrong written and verbal English communication skills We conduct pre-employment drug and background screeningWhat is preferred And if you’ve got these in your back pocket, consider it a bonus:Experience working with SCADA systemsKnowledge of Linux and networkingAs a person, you demonstrate proactivity and infuse enthusiasm and self-motivation to learn and embrace challenges. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
