Job Title: Housekeeper Department: Human ResourcesReports to: HR ManagerStatus: Part-Time/Non-Exempt 5:00 AM - 11 AM M-Th

Summary :

Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing etc. Ensuring all responsible areas are cared for and inspected according to standards. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.

Job Specific Competencies:

1. Housekeeping

a. Performs all cleaning activities as per the Housekeeping Matrix

b. Notify Manager/Supervisor of any damages, deficits and disturbances

c. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience

d. Maintains stocking levels of all consumable cleaning supplies

e. Adheres strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

2. Legal Compliance

a. Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements

b. Ensure ISO procedures are followed

c. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Education

· High School diploma or GED or a combination of equal education and experience

· 1 year proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper

· Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

· Experience with a variety of cleaning products and tools

· Prioritization and time management skills

· Working quickly without compromising quality

Working Conditions

Movement

This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Operate/Use

Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator)

Ascend/Descend

Rarely ascends/descends stairs to reach archived files

Communicate

This position frequently communicates with co-workers, managers and supervisors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Transport

This position frequently lifts or moves up to 25 pounds, occasionally moves up to 50 pounds for various needs.

Work Environment

Relatively quiet but fast paced.
