Blue Yonder Title: Solution Architect – Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Other comparable titles: Senior Architect, Applications Solution Architect, Software Solutions Architect, TMS Consultant, TMS Functional Delivery LeadLocation: Virtual within the USThis position will require travel within the US at 50% - 75%OverviewBlue Yonder is a leading SaaS and AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions software product company, and a Glassdoor “Best Places to Work” employer.We are seeking multiple Solution Architects and Sr Solution Architects to join the Professional Services team where your core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Transportation Management solutions.Scope of roleThe Solution Architect will be the lead functional consultant for Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems solution implementations for Fortune 500 customers across the Americas region.In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Transportation Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.You will be the functional liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.Our current technical environmentUnderstand the basics of APIs-SOAP/REST, XMLs, JSONsInclination to understand and learn simple SQLsReport writing and validationWhat you’ll doDrive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Transportation Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologiesApply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes, with regardingLead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timelineConduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associatesSustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfactionAssess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmapsRecognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projectsCommunicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancementsWhen not actively working on implementation projects, assist our support services group with support casesWhat we are looking forIndustry and Product Experience:Minimum 5 years of specific experience working within Blue Yonder’s Transportation Management Systems, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers preferredRelevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading Transportation Management Solutions, such as IBM (Logistics & Supply Chain) Oracle (OTM), SAP, Manhattan, E2Open, o9 Solutions, may be consideredExperience in a customer-facing role where you led n the gathering of requirements, formulating a software solution, and persuading stakeholdersCurrent or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferredSkills:Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain requiredAbility to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiencesBasic Excel skills (data cleansing, pivot tables)Ability to read and execute simple SQL queries preferredAdditional preferred abilities (dependent upon customer project assignment):Ability to qualify for SF85P public trust security clearanceAbility to clear a background check and drug test, fingerprints, and photocopy of US passport or birth certificateEducation:Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferredBachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree*LI-AD1#LI-Remote-------------------------------------------The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 USD, plus a bonus component.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
