Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (9:40–22:10)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity general surgery operating room environment
• Support and assist with complex surgical procedures including HIPEC, Whipple, colectomy, trauma, burns, and hernia repair
• Assist with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries including Da Vinci Xi procedures
• Participate in organ procurement cases and appendectomy and cholecystectomy procedures
• Float to other units as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the Operating Room specialty within the last 3 years
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms, particularly Da Vinci Xi
• Background in high-complexity or high-acuity surgical cases such as HIPEC or Whipple procedures
• Familiarity with organ procurement processes
