Delivery Driver

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering glass products and related materials to our customers, representing the company with integrity, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26' box truck to complete assigned routes, customer deliveries, and inter-facility product transfers.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with company policy.

• Transport materials safely, securely, accurately, and without damage.

• Load, secure, transport, and unload product as required.

• Verify product accuracy against delivery paperwork, transfer documents, or other required records.

• Obtain required delivery confirmations, signatures, or documentation from customers and company facilities.

• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery documentation, inspection reports, and other required paperwork.

• Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and customers regarding delivery updates or issues.


• Report delivery issues, delays, discrepancies, product damage, vehicle concerns, or safety issues promptly.

• Follow all company safety standards, PPE requirements, and defensive driving practices.

• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and company vehicle policies.

• Maintain professional conduct and represent the company in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.

• Assist in warehouse as needed.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.

• Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company driving standards.

• Previous experience operating a 26' box truck strongly preferred.

• Previous commercial, delivery, courier, route driving, or box truck driving experience; 3 years preferred.

• Experience with customer deliveries, product transfers, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations preferred.

• Ability to safely operate assigned company vehicle.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. as required.

• Ability to read and follow route instructions, delivery paperwork, transfer documents, and company procedures.

• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving.

• Must be able to enter and exit a 26' box truck safely and repeatedly during the shift.

• Must be able to perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, and load/unload product when required.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, reach, climb, and move materials as required by the position.

• Must be able to work in varying temperatures, weather conditions, warehouse environments, and customer locations.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
